Dear Dr. Peter Badalamenti,

As I sit down to write this letter, almost a year has gone by since you've completed my smile. Prior to meeting you, I have always been aware that something was terribly wrong with my teeth and bite. Other dentists before you had put me in braces twice and a metal bar was fastened to my upper and lower teeth just to keep my teeth from going crooked again. The other dentists didn't understand why I was grinding my teeth down to little nubs or why I was suffering from a lifetime of migraines.

When I first came to you, I didn't know if you or any doctor could really find out what was wrong with me and why my teeth and bite were so screwed up. I had pain from migraines for the past 21 years, but no doctor really cared or took the time to find out what the problem was. Over the years I was on countless pills for the pain of my migraines and my bite felt weird and uncomfortable. My regular dentist just ground my teeth down more when I mentioned my bite didn't feel right. The pain I suffered was non-stop, day and night, to the point where all I seemed to do was cry.  I was frustrated and at my wits end.

You changed all that. You have taken all my TMJ pain away, you corrected my overbite, my migraine pain is gone completely and my little ground down teeth are whole and beautiful again. You cured what so many doctors, and seemingly endless pills, could not correct for years and you really took the time to care for me. You were genuinely concerned about me. I don't know how I will ever be able to thank you for really taking the time for me and for having the passion you do to help make my life so much better.

There are many doctors who call themselves dentists, but there are truly only a handful that have the God-given talent that you possess. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for taking my pain away and making me so proud of my smile. Now I have a full and beautiful smile. I am so happy and I feel wonderful. I had a very "gummy" smile with gaps in my teeth. I was very self-conscious of it. When I first went to Dr. Badalamenti's office I just thought I would get some of those gaps filled.  He then asked,"if I could change anything about my smile, what would it be?" I said that I would change my gummy smile. When he told me that he could laser that away, and even showed me some before-&-after shots, I couldn't believe it. I had been told so many times by previous dentists that nothing could be done about my smile, yet he did it. I absolutely love what he has done. I think smiles make a big statement and when he fixed my teeth I was amazed. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I didn't know what to expect before I came to Dr. Badalamenti's office. I'm glad he has a consultation with you first, to let you know where you stand and what he can do to help. With his camera system he can really show you everything that's in your mouth that you can't usually see for yourself. I must say that I wasn't surprised at what he told me he would do, but I was surprised when the work was done. I didn't think anyone could do what he said he could do, but he pulled it off. It's amazing. I'm much more confident in smiling and that really helps me when I'm working with my customers or my employees. I used to have that closed-mouth smile and now I smile all the time.
